Read to Self (RS) Assigned Independent Reading Tasks
1. January 2nd to 6th, 2012, Assigned Independent Reading Task - Hello all!
Welcome back! Just a reminder: All of the content disclosed here is for academic purposes only, so be sure to use them in an academic way.
You need to do a Read Aloud of the article titled "Environmental Dangers", page 316, in your Treasures reading book.
Your task is as follows:
a) BEFORE Reading/Listening - Prepare for the reading by reviewing the reading.
b) NEXT, practice reading the writing to yourself, so the words flow more easily (fluently). You want to record your best self each time you make a recording of yourself.
c) READ THE TEXT WHILE YOU RECORD using the video setting on the CAMERA
.Then, send it to me via my email. You may need to make edits to the length in order to be able to send the file. This is not your file product, so if you must trim it down to an uncomfortable length, don't fret too much. (If it's 10 minutes long, that's too much, however!)
and as always, DO GOOD WORK!
Mrs. Ross
*when finished, practice matching this week's vocabulary flashcards (on Cramberry), , move on to any incomplete Daily 5 Work OR D.E.A.R., OR AR Test (in that order). If you have a question, you may ask Mrs. Ross.
